In the residential Graça district, a few blocks northeast of the fortifications surrounding Castelo de São Jorge, this restaurant boasts a panoramic view that encompasses the castelo and the Basilica da Estrela. Flickering candles and attentive service enhance the romantic setting. Dishes aren't inventive, but they're savory and appealing to traditionalists who opt for hearty fare. Specialties of the house include such traditional Portuguese dishes as pato assado com moscatel (roast duck with wine from the region of Setúbal) and linguado com recheio de camarão (stuffed filet of sole served with shrimp).
