This place is so edgy that every urban metrosexual wannabe in Lisbon wants to be seen here. Set a few paces from the São Carlos Opera House, less than a block from the shop-lined Rua Garrett, it's angular, trendy, and minimalist -- the kind of place you might have expected in Rome, Rio, or London. But it has a distinctly Portuguese accent, a color scheme of apple green and white, and room for 48 diners at a time. A large window exposes a view of the busy kitchen. The menu focuses on simple wok dishes, noodle dishes, and dim sum (Chinese dumplings) with assorted stuffings. Salmon teriyaki and pad thai with chicken, shrimp, and tamarind sauce are popular and good-tasting staples.
