This spot has been open since 1937, but has passed the test of time -- it's still one of the country's favorite fado clubs. Alternating with such modern-day fadistas as the critically acclaimed Marina Rosa are folk dancers whirling, clapping, and singing native songs in colorful costumes. Dinner is a la carte, and the cuisine is mostly Portuguese, with a number of regional dishes. Expect to spend 25€ to 30€ ($33-$39) for a complete meal. The dinner hour starts at 8pm, music begins at 9:15pm, and the doors don't close until 3am. It's open Tuesday through Sunday.
