Best defined as a "night bar," Indochina doesn't try to compete with other clubs that emphasize danceable, recently released music. The comfortable seats invariably encourage conversation among patrons both gay and straight. The atmosphere is generally calmer, gentler, and softer than the hard-edged danceteria modes of some nearby competitors. An Asian restaurant is on the premises, but most people come here just to drink and judge who's looking the most chic. It's open Thursday to Saturday 11pm until 6am.
