One of three Norman "round churches" left in England, this one was first completed in the 12th century. Not surprisingly, it has been restored. Look for the knightly effigies and the Norman door, and take note of the circle of grotesque portrait heads, including a goat in a mortarboard. Free organ recitals are presented Wednesday 1:15 to 1:35pm. On Inner Temple Lane, about where the Strand becomes Fleet Street going east, you'll see the memorial pillar called Temple Bar, which marks the boundary of the City of London.
