Frommer's Review
Followers of the Agatha Christie TV series Poirot will recognize this Cartwright Gardens residence -- it was featured in the series. The antiques are gone and the rooms are small, but some of the original charm of the Georgian house remains -- enough so that the London Mail on Sunday proclaimed it 1 of the "10 best hotel values" in the city. All the rooms are decorated in traditional Georgian style. The location is great, near the British Museum, theaters, and antiquarian bookshops. There are some drawbacks: no lift and no reception or sitting room. But this is a place where you can settle in and feel at home.
Facilities:
Use of tennis courts in Cartwright Gardens; use of washer/dryer
