This B&B emerges as a winner on a street lined with the finest Victoria Station-area B&Bs. William IV had just begun his reign when this house was constructed in 1830. Private, shower-only bathrooms have been discreetly installed, and everything works efficiently. For rooms without bathrooms, there are adequate hallway facilities, some of which are shared by only two rooms. Traffic in this area of London is heavy, and the front windows are not soundproof, so be warned if you're a light sleeper. Year after year, the owners make improvements in the furnishings and carpets. All guest rooms, which vary in size, are comfortably furnished and well maintained. Two rooms are large enough for families. A generous breakfast awaits you each morning in the basement of this nonsmoking facility.
