Myhotel

Defiantly untypical in an area renowned for staid, chintzy accommodations, Myhotel is a London terrace house on the outside with a modernist Asian-style interior aimed at the young, hip traveler. It's designed according to feng shui principles; so, for example, the rooms have mirrors, but they're positioned so you don't see yourself when you first wake up. (That's feng shui rule one, and probably a good rule, feng shui or no feng shui.) Rooms are small, but are havens of comfort, taste, and tranquility, with excellent, sleep-inducing beds. Tipping is discouraged, and each guest is assigned a personal assistant responsible for his or her happiness.
