Many of the affordable hotels around Earl's Court are seedy but not this restored hotel, a stately red-brick Victorian house with a distinctly Asian feeling, from the lounge's porcelain vases and ornate bird cages to the heavy silk draperies. There's even a Pasha Suite with a cedar aroma with luxurious silk curtains in a peacock design or a silk-draped canopied Sleigh Double. Some of the smaller rooms are made to feel much smaller by the heavy furniture, most of which was shipped in from Indonesia. Several of the bedrooms feature private terraces.
