Getting There -- The main bus link is between Málaga and Marbella, with the Empressa Portillo (tel. 90-214-31-44), running 17 buses a day, the trip taking 1 hour and 25 minutes, costing 4.85€ ($7.80) one-way. Three buses each come from Madrid and Barcelona. The bus station is on the outskirts of Marbella on Avenida Trapiche, a 5-minute ride from the center of town.

If you're driving, Marbella is the first major resort as you head east on the N-340/E-15 from Algeciras.
