Frommer's Review
This little discovery outside Marbella lies in a rustic house, very much in the style of an old hacienda, with internal patios decorated with plants, trees, and flowers. Wooden furniture only adds to the old-fashioned look, along with hanging hams and ceramics used for decoration. In addition, the restaurant offers a beautiful terrace. On a full night the place is a whirl of color and activity. The charming waiters rather proudly bring out the chef's specialties.
Our party recently enjoyed the filet of turbot with fried garlic, and the squid a la moruna (with hot peppers). The flavor of a perfectly grilled and tender veal cutlet was enlivened with fresh rosemary, bay leaf, zesty pepper, garlic, and onion. Believe it or not, the taste didn't get lost under that overload. For beefeaters, the sirloin a la ibérica came with a sauce made of fresh bay leaf and cloves, creating a tangy and very appetizing flavor.
