The Town House

Deep in the heart of the Old Town, this former private home has been tastefully converted into the town's most romantic boutique hotel. Of all the hotels in Marbella, this one comes the closest to evoking life in a historic private town house. Most guests' day begins with morning coffee on the roof terrace, and ends with a cold drink, perhaps a cocktail, on that same terrace as the sun sets. The house is 300m (984 ft.) from the boardwalk along the beach (which extends all the way to Puerto Banús, incidentally). The midsize bedrooms were designed with exquisite care, with antique objects combined with contemporary design and modern comforts. Some of the objects you might admire, such as candleholders or pictures, can be purchased.
