Attending a Pelota Match
While in Pamplona, you might want to head about 6km (3 1/2 miles) outside town to Frontón Euskal-Jai Berri (tel. 94-833-11-59), along Avenida de Francia, to check out a professional pelota (jai alai) match. Game times are Saturday at 4pm and some Sundays and regional and national holidays. Four matches are usually played on game days, and tickets can be purchased any time during the sets. Admission to the bleachers is 12€ to 15€ ($17-$22). We recommend leaving the betting to the experts.
