Occupying what used to be the Centre d'Interprétation du Vieux-Port on the waterfront, this newly renovated and expanded pavilion is set to open in May 2008 as the central location for Québec's 400th-anniversary celebrations. From June to September 2008, Espace 400e will host exhibits, performances, conferences, and shows. From 2009 on, it will become a Parks Canada discovery center.
