Frommer's Review
For just a while, this was the hottest restaurant in town, offering evenings of astonishingly good food. Chefs have come and gone, but the restaurant is still worth seeking out. It's at the epicenter of the renovated portion of St-Roch, an area that's slowly getting a youthful pop amid otherwise dreary office buildings and low-key retail. Sushi and Japanese preparations are the focus, but authenticity isn't sought, not with foie gras on the card (and as expensive as you expect). Individual sushi run C$4 to C$15 (US$3.50?US$13/£1.70?£6.45) each, and there are tasting menus of C$65 (US$57/£28) for five courses and C$85 (US$74/£37) for seven. The restaurant, we were told, is putting more of a focus on wine, with more private importation.
