Frommer's Review
All was fresh, painted, and shellacked a few years ago at this inn on the south side of the Parc des Gouverneurs, opposite the Château Frontenac. It still looks good, with gleaming floors and many exposed stone or brick walls. The price is right, although if you require air-conditioning be sure to request one of the seven units that have it. (Know, too, that these four floors have no elevator). Upgrade to what they call their "condo" -- an apartment in a separate building in back -- and get a balcony, a fireplace, and a kitchenette with microwave oven and basic crockery.
