Alavera de los Baños ReviewIn the San Miguel quarter of Ronda, formerly the Jewish ghetto, this hotel is near the Baños Arabes (Arab baths). Dating from the 17th century, it was last renovated in 2007. An atmospheric place with great character, it has low ceilings and wooden beams. The inn was featured as a backdrop in the classic movie Carmen. The bedrooms have panoramic views of the enveloping Serranía de Ronda as well as of the city walls. In the rear of the hotel is a garden with chairs and a pool. Bedrooms are small but comfortably and tastefully furnished with little shower-only bathrooms.
