Frommer's Review
Restored after a long slumber, the Reina Victoria enjoys a reputation as the most architecturally glamorous hotel in Valencia. Built in 1913, the hotel has welcomed many distinguished guests, including Alfonso XIII and the hotel's namesake Queen Victoria herself, as well as Dalí, Manolete, Picasso, Falla, García Lorca, and Miró. Bristling with neoclassical detailing and wrought-iron accents, it overlooks the flower gardens and fountains of Valencia's central square, Plaza del País Valenciano. Rooms range from small to medium (only a few are really spacious) and have midsize bathrooms that contain both tubs and showers. The hotel is in the heart of town, a 5-minute walk from the railway station.
