Hilton Valencia ReviewThis upscale hotel lies immediately adjacent to the city's convention center, about 3km (2 miles) east of the town's historic core. Opened in 2007, this 29-story glass-and-dark-metal tower is the tallest building in Valencia, and, as such, visible from most neighborhoods of the city. Bedrooms are medium to large in size, well accessorized, and plush, with big-windowed views, tasteful contemporary furnishings, and warm tones of beige and salmon. Bathrooms are sheathed in marble, and each room has a writing table. There are two restaurants on-site: Azahar (for breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and the more posh and cutting-edge Bice, a branch of a well-known Italian chain with outposts scattered across Europe. | 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
