Frommer's Review
This two-story, white-clapboard Victorian with wraparound verandas is very coastal Southern, with rocking chairs on the porches and green shutters trimming tall windows hung with lace curtains. It was used as a boardinghouse and school for many years before being converted into this charming B&B. The guest rooms are adorned with Victorian pieces, including feather beds, and the two downstairs rooms have jetted bathtubs. Innkeepers Stephen and Marie-Louise LaFond serve a full family-style breakfast in the lounge promptly at 9am. They also provide beach buggies to haul your complimentary umbrellas, chairs, and boogie boards to the beach, a 2-block walk away. Their "business center" is a computer squirreled away in an armoire in the upstairs hallway, and their "fitness center" consists of a basket full of barbells.
