Pam Grout is an award-winning travel writer and New York Times bestselling author based in the midwestern United States after living abroad in Australia and Mexico. She holds a bachelor's in journalism from Kansas State University and a master's in communications from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.
Her work has appeared in Washington Post, Travel+Leisure, CNN Travel, Midwest Living, Men's Journal, People magazine, AAA magazines, and more throughout her career. She is also the author of 22 books, many of which are New York Times Bestsellers. Her books include several for National Geographic on meaningful vacations and five books on quirky travel for Globe-Pequot.
She has won several feature writing awards from the Society of American Travel Writers and the Midwest Travel Writers.
