Part of Hôtel Le Cep and a satellite of the Relais Bernard Loiseau in Saulieu, this Michelin-star restaurant is one of our favorites in Burgundy. Sure, the food is superb, but it’s all about the wine here. This was the first restaurant in Europe to serve wines solely by the glass (5€–45€). And what a choice: around 70 labels, mostly from the region, and some you won’t find anywhere else. The two-course lunch menu is accessible at 28€ and features local products in Burgundian recipes, create by exciting young chef Alexandre Dutat. Come on a warm day and you’ll be able to eat at a table in the gorgeous courtyard.
