Larger, plusher, and obviously better financed than the Bellini museum, this second-story museum showcases the oil paintings and engravings of Sicilian artist Emilio Greco (1913-95). Many locals are not that familiar with Greco and his abstract nude forms. He received more accolades in New York and Tokyo than in Sicily. Sure, I admire Emilio Greco, but I wonder why works by other Sicilian artists aren't also on display in this magnificent space.
