Good for a satisfyingly traditional lunch, this cute little cafe is not far from the Rock of Cashel. Mains are hearty and old-school. Choose from homemade pies, stews, roast chicken, pork, or beef, piled high with steaming hot vegetables. Portions are so generous you probably won’t be hungry for dinner. The flat-rate of €10 per main course is a great value; alternatively, you could reward yourself for making the climb up and down from the Rock with a restorative coffee and a tasty slice of cake for just a couple of euro.
