Red Barn Motel
Very basic chain-style lodging that might not bear mentioning if it weren’t so lovingly cared for and in such a great location. Rooms are plain but very fresh, with microwaves, and minifridges, and satellite TV. The terrific view out back takes in a broad lawn, the Narraguagus River, and the motel’s huge community garden, full of veggies and flowers, that guests are free to wander and pick from. Adirondack chairs scattered around the lawn are great for watching the river go by. A simple but nice budget option.
