Gyeongpodae Beach
This beach is located just a kilometer from Gyeongpodae and is essentially a sandbar formed between Gyeongpo Lake and the ocean. It has fine white sand and is surrounded by pine forests and wild roses. Most come to see the nearby historical sites, but the beach is also well known for its sun- and moonrises. Various cultural events are held here throughout the year, including the Cherry Blossom Festival in the spring and the Beach Festival in the summer. There are shower and changing facilities available.
