Hotels in Guadalupe
With so many pilgrims coming and going, Guadalupe has lots of budget accommodations, many of them dingy and cheerless. Honorable exceptions are Hostal Alba Taruta, Calle Chorro Gordo, 2 (tel. 67-044-91-76; doubles from 45€), which is clean and comfortable with a lovely terrace; Hotel Rural Posada de Rincón, Plaza Santa María, 11 (tel. 92-736-71-14; doubles from 55€), perfectly located in front of the basilica; and the highly rated self-catering apartments at Casa Rural Llana 12, Calle Llana, 12 (tel. 60-956-78-95; 80€–145€), with rural-chic rooms and spectacular mountain views. But if you can get a room, stay in the monastery.
