In the charming Centro of the town, a few minutes' amble from a bustling beach, this basic but well-maintained little motel is the choice for real budgeteers. Rooms are a bit dark, not all have A/C (though they will have a ceiling fan), and the beds can’t be called soft. But you won’t find a scuff mark on the walls or a speck of dust anywhere. And the interior of the courtyard is darn pleasant, with plants blossoming in all corners and rocking chairs set up so that guests can mingle in the open air. The desk staff don’t speak English, but they’re very patient with broken Spanish and hand gestures. Final perk: excellent restaurants, nightlife and shops are just steps away from the entrance to the hotel, but because most rooms face the interior courtyard, guests don't have to contend with street noise.
