Getting There -- From Salt Lake City and Ogden, take I-15 north to exit 362, then follow U.S. 89/91 northeast about 24 miles to downtown Logan. Those flying to Salt Lake City can arrange transportation with the Cache Valley Airport Shuttle (tel. 800/658-8526 or 435/563-6400; Two days' notice is recommended; round-trip fare is $86, one-way $48.

Visitor Information -- The Cache Valley Visitors Bureau has a Visitor Information Center located in a beautifully restored 1883 courthouse at 199 N. Main St., Logan, UT 84321 (tel. 800/882-4433 or 435/755-1890; It's open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Getting Around -- As with most Utah cities, Logan is laid out on a grid, with the center at the intersection of Main Street (north to south) and Center Street (east to west). Tabernacle Square is the block to the northeast of the intersection. U.S. 89/91 enters town on a diagonal from the southwest, along the golf course at the south end of town. Utah State University is located on the northeast side of town, north of U.S. 89 between 700 and 1400 East.

The Cache Valley Transit District, or CVTD (tel. 435/752-2877;, is a free citywide bus service. Buses run Monday through Friday 5am to 7:15pm and Saturday 10:15am to 7:10pm, except major holidays.
