Pierozic
We’re not the only source heaping praise on this pierogi master: it’s also in the foodie bible Michelin. The Polish dumplings here come in a number of varieties, from traditional (pork, cheese, or sauerkraut and mushroom) to ones that push the envelope, like a recent collab with pizza shop Paulie Gee’s (p. ###) that stuffed these babies with Italian cured meats and tomato sauce, and topped them with spicy honey. A mug of their excellent hot borscht is the obvious accompaniment, but if you want a harder beverage, you might try one of their infused vodka shots (they also have a full bar). It’s not a fancy place—how could it be at these prices?—but the use of traditional Bolesławiec flatware elevates the meal, and the waitstaff are a genial crew.
