Hotel Ciudadela
If you’re on a budget, the popular Ciudadela is now the best inexpensive lodging close to the town center. Opened in 2021, it is clean, fairly quiet, modern, light, and spacious. Some rooms have modest balconies, some only have interior view, but all are air-conditioned and soundproofed (crucial at festival time!) and are of a decent size, with wide beds and large TVs. It’s located only a short distance from the Plaza del Castillo. Staff here are young, hospitable, and enthusiastic about their sparkling establishment. A decent bar/cafe offers a good alternative to the buffet breakfast.
