This shoebox-size dining room near the Tour Montparnasse serves a classy version of the soul-warming cuisine of southwestern France. In autumn and winter, Chef Cyril Lalanne does amazing things with wild game, and his menu features every animal in the forest from hare to partridge to boar. Other regional dishes include breast of goose with roasted pears and sautéed foie gras. Finish with the incredible Armagnac (as opposed to rum) baba, which comes with a scoop of luscious vanilla crème fouettée. It’s best to reserve ahead, but if you can’t, you can line up for one of the two seatings, at 7pm and 9pm.
