A mini-version of La Fontaine de Mars, this cute little cafe tumbles out on to the rue Cler pedestrian market street and serves food of the same high quality as its upscale big sister, but simpler, and at a lower price. While you won’t find as many red and white checks, you will find classic cafe fare (steaks with sautéed potatoes, omelets, and tartines—open-faced grilled sandwiches) as well as a daily special, which might be roast chicken (Sunday) or fresh fish (Friday, natch). You can also get a good continental breakfast here.
