Hotels in Shelburne
There are a number of charming vacation rentals in and around Shelburne. And we recommend booking them through Sandy Lane Vacations which has a selection of 40 or more homes available through this all-local, family-owned and operated rental service. The properties have to meet the company’s standards, and are regularly inspected. They are scattered along the coast from Barrington to Liverpool—most with an ocean view—and include all the amenities of a fully furnished home. Some are best suited to a couple, but others are large enough for sizeable groups, like the “Heart of the Ocean Cottage”—not a cottage at all, but a lovely renovated fisherman’s house with a bright new kitchen and a deck that overlooks West Green Harbour and a small, private beach. Most have a 3-night minimum; prices are often equivalent to what you’d find on VRBO.com or Airbnb.com for similar, but uninspected, properties.
