This demure little restaurant is swallowed up by the larger and swankier businesses that now surround it, but it has been offering artistically arranged kaiseki and simpler bento boxes for more than 90 years, and it does it well. A plastic food display shows some of the options, but a perennial favorite is the three-course Fukiyose-zen obento, which comes with tempura and costs ¥3,675. Various kaiseki meals, which become more elaborate the more they cost, must be reserved in advance for those costing ¥10,395 and up.
