Frommer's Review
In the heart of the Judería (old Jewish Quarter) a 4-minute walk from the mosque, this hotel is one of the most desirable in town. In 1992, it opened next to a synagogue that dates from 1314, after renovations combined two existing 18th-century mansions. The houses face each other and are linked by a small patio of beautiful Andalusian arches and colorful Spanish tiles. The spacious rooms come with neat bathrooms containing tub/shower combos, and excellent beds, and the design is a tasteful combination of wood and fabric. A more modern wing features rooms that are equivalent in comfort.
Facilities:
Restaurant; bar; room service; babysitting; laundry service; dry cleaning; nonsmoking rooms

Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
