A few miles from Clonmacnoise, tucked into the little village of Shannonbridge, this is another good Irish boozer that has outgrown its pub-and-grocery-store origins. Along with a relaxed mood and friendly regulars come turf fires, excellent pints of Guinness, and faultless Irish coffees.
