We -- and scores of local residents -- think it's worth knowing about the good, inexpensive food you can get at this place. In fact, this is one of the best spots behind the cathedral for fast but traditional Spanish food. Although less than a decade old, the restaurant looks much older, thanks to marble countertops, faux baroque decorations, and elaborate ceiling moldings. In summertime, outdoor tables are set up in the shadow of the cathedral's foundations. Perhaps best of all, the salads, burgers, omelets, crepes, and sandwiches available at this well-intentioned, bustling place can give you a break from too much heavy Spanish food. A series of platos combinados (pork steaks with rice and vegetables, fish with trimmings) are a good value at 10€ ($16) each. Don't come here for a leisurely meal; the setting isn't conducive to lingering and tables turn over quickly.
