Frommer's Review
A third-generation family restaurant, this tavern has been feeding locals ever since it opened in 1947. Traditional in style, it is decorated with brick walls and Andalusian tiles. Nearby residents flock here for platos típicos de Granada, which needs no translation. The chefs specialize in choice cuts of meat and fresh fish. Main courses include fried swordfish in a shrimp sauce and a platter of savory barbecued meats. For a local favorite, try the oxtail.
