Princesa Ana ReviewOnly 200m (656 ft.) from the train station, this four-story, government-rated four-star hotel is one of the leading choices of Granada, yet charges reasonable rates. Devotees consider it much better than its competitor, Reina Christina, and on par with the Inglaterra; the latter is slightly more cutting edge. The styling throughout is vaguely neoclassical and dates from 1988. The hotel received its last major overhaul in 2006. Bedrooms are midsize and furnished in both traditional and modern pieces, with fabrics coordinated on the beds and the draperies, the floors softly carpeted. Contemporary and tasteful wooden furnishings are used throughout. All in all, this hotel is serviceable, but not spectacular. | 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
