Frommer's Review
Making up for the lack of a Ritz-y resort on Marco Island is this posh, all-suite place with a full-service spa. The suites are comfy, complete with full kitchens and patios overlooking the Gulf. Bathrooms are large and have delicious Molton Brown bath products. Although the marble lobby is mausoleum-like with little or no activity, it is a sight to see. After a recent $1-million renovation to landscaping, suites, and other areas, the owners decided to add a new lobby seating area, so you can actually sit and enjoy the scenery. While the pool has private cabanas and great butlers, the beach and its beach butlers are what really matter. There's also a rooftop pool where you can enjoy massages, and experience poolside chic in luxe rental cabanas with butler service. The restaurant, Sale e Pepe, features an award-winning Italian-born chef whipping up exquisite northern Italian cuisine with French influences.
Facilities:
4 restaurants; 2 bars; heated outdoor pool; golf and tennis at nearby facilities; fitness center; spa; Jacuzzi; sauna; watersports equipment rental; concierge; business center; sundry shop; 24-hr. room service; massage; laundry service

| 0 stars | Frommer's Recommended | |
| 1 stars | Frommer's Highly Recommended | |
| 2 stars | Frommer's Very Highly Recommended | |
| 3 stars | Frommer's Exceptional |
Frommer's ranks every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment it reviews for quality, value, service, amenities, and special features using a star-rating scale, an expression of the strong compare-and-contrast opinions that are a brand hallmark.
Other ratings provide stars based primarily on price and amenities; the Frommer's star rating is meant to quantify the kind of intangible, experiential elements that help travelers make informed decisions.
The "baseline" recommendation is zero stars--every hotel, restaurant, attraction, shop, and nightlife establishment that Frommer's chooses to review is recommended; otherwise, we simply wouldn't include it.
