Frommer's Review
The beauty of the Muse is that it is a Times Square hotel that feels like it's miles away, an inspired oasis in the bustle and noise that is Times Square. After a renovation in 2007, Kimpton Hotels has taken over its management, adding a more stylish, environmentally conscious look and feel. All the rooms are good sized, with feather beds and custom linens. There was a Muse statue in my room, but I'm not sure if it inspired me to do anything but get a good night's sleep. And for that I can't complain. The bathrooms are sumptuous and well outfitted. Service is solid and anticipatory. Like other Kimpton hotels, the Muse offers a complimentary wine reception in the lobby each afternoon.
