Getting There

Air Fiji and Pacific Sun both fly from Nadi to Savusavu, and Air Fiji arrives here from Suva. The tiny Savusavu airstrip is on Vanua Levu's south coast. Hotel representatives meet guests who have reservations. A few taxi drivers usually meet the flights.

Patterson Shipping Services has bus-ferry connections from Natovi Wharf (north of Suva on eastern Viti Levu) to Nabouwalu on Vanua Levu. You connect by bus from Suva to Natovi and from Nabouwalu to Labasa. Local buses connect Labasa to Savusavu.
