The official site of city hall, www.bcn.es, is slow to load but useful for things such as opening times and upcoming events (in English). The Barcelona Metropolitan, the local magazine in English (www.barcelona-metropolitan.com), is mainly aimed at expats, but will appeal to the visitor who wants more of an insider's look at the city.
