Frommer's Review
Madame Tussaud's it may not be, but Barcelona's Wax Museum still has plenty of appeal. Located in a 19th-century building that used to be a bank, the winding staircase and frescoes are a fitting setting for the array of Catalan and Spanish historical and cultural personages, plus Dracula, Frankenstein, and the usual suspects. Next door, the museum's cafe El Bosc de les Fades is fitted out "fairy forest" style with magic mirrors, bubbling brooks, and secret doors, further adding to the fantastical experience.
