Frommer's Review
Before its nightly transformation into a club for gente guapa (beautiful people), CDLC functions as a regular quality restaurant. Rather than the food or impeccable service, the attraction here is its sea-facing terrace. Not that the cuisine, with its strong Thai and Japanese influence, is in any way unacceptable, but true foodies may be suspicious of the fact that a plate of sushi can make it to your table in just under 30 seconds. It might be better to stick to the lunchtime fare, which includes very reasonably priced salads, sandwiches, and burgers. In true show-off style, the wine list includes some offerings priced to impress: You could, for example, treat your date to a 306€ ($383) bottle of Cristal champagne, and if that doesn't do the trick go for the 496€ ($620) Sant Emilion Cheval Blanc from 1996.
