H10 Racó del Pi

Locations don't get much better than this one, right next to the Old City's prettiest plaza, which is bustling most days with pavement cafes, weekend produce markets, street performers, and artists. The hotel itself has plenty of character; it's small and intimate, with helpful staff who provide some nice touches like offering a glass of cava (sparkling wine) to guests on arrival. The rooms tend to be compact and dark (one disadvantage of the Barri Gòtic), but this seems a small price to pay for staying in such a cozy place and in such a desirable corner of the town center. All have en-suite, mosaic-tiled bathrooms. The hotel also serves a good breakfast buffet offering a range of homemade products.
