This top-end, glass-fronted, four-star oozes style even though it's predominantly a business hotel. If you keep one eye on its pleasing Zen-like design focus and another on the small details that make a difference -- such as 24-hour laundry service, free minibar, and nonsmoking rooms -- you'll realize that these features alone make it a cut above most chain hotels. The restaurant, with its avant-garde aura, offers a sanísimo (low-fat) menu, instead of the usual steak and chips. Bedrooms are a good size and warmly decorated with wood paneling, parquet floors, and a small sitting area. All have en-suite bathrooms with shower and/or tub.
