A smart boutique hotel within easy walking distance of La Ribera's shopping, cultural, and culinary attractions, the recently renovated Constanza combines style and a young vibe with a fair amount of substance for its price range. True, it doesn't have a rooftop pool or city views, but it's smart and comfortable with an upbeat, trendy ambience. The lobby is filled with white boxy couches and red trim, and there's a minimalist breakfast room decorated flower prints. The first-floor bedrooms are bright and fresh with clean lines and leather-trimmed furniture, throw cushions a-plenty, and white cotton sheets. All have en-suite bathrooms with showers. Some are rather small, and those at the front can be noisy, but if you can book a room with its own private terrace the place is a bargain.
