One of the most filled-with-character hostales in town, the Girona is decorated with wall hangings and rugs, gilded picture frames and tear-drop chandeliers, which offset the moderniste decor beautifully. The result is a place that feels like home, and, unsurprisingly, it's developed something of a loyal following. The Girona offers a variety of bedrooms, from singles without bathrooms to more plush doubles with en-suite bathrooms with tub/shower combos and balconies. All are comfortable and freshly painted with plain white linen bedspreads. A bargain.
